Empowering Future Hospitality Leaders: PEEF Awards Scholarships at Hashoo School of Hospitality Management

The Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (NEST-PEEF) granted scholarships to students pursuing degrees in tourism and hospitality management as part of a historic effort to promote skill development and educational empowerment in Pakistan’s expanding hospitality and tourist industry. The Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (HSHM), located on the Bahria University Campus in Islamabad, hosted the award ceremony.
Among those who graced the occasion were Ms.Haseeb ABastien Blanc, the CEO of the Pearl-Continental Hospitality Division; and Gardezi, the Executive Director of the Hashoo Group’s Hospitality and Education Division.
The event united parents, students, business executives, and government representatives in a noteworthy example of public-private cooperation to improve educational and career prospects.
“Education is the foundation of a resilient and progressive society,” stressed Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, in her keynote address, underscoring the initiative’s wider relevance. Strong platforms for both individual and national progress are created when industry-relevant education from establishments like the Hashoo School of Hospitality, imaginative government assistance, and financial access through NEST-PEEF scholarships come together. NEST-PEEF’s CEO expressed the organization’s dedication to inclusive education, saying: “PEEF is dedicated to removing financial barriers for students—particularly those from underserved regions—through initiatives like the Tourism and Hospitality Scholarship Program.” We hope to develop future professionals and promote long-term growth in important industries like tourism, which has enormous job creation potential, by providing fully supported scholarships.
