How to Win Rs. 20,000 by Reporting Non-POS Invoices to the FBR

Recently, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) brought back its Point of Sale (POS) reward program in an attempt to combat tax evasion by uncovering fraudulent receipts.
Customers who shop at FBR-registered establishments linked to the authority’s digital system are encouraged to do so by the program.
Through a monthly lucky draw, they can win cash prizes of between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 20,000 in exchange.
Purchase from FBR-Registered Shops: Purchases from restaurants that have integrated the FBR system and tier-one retailers are the only ones that qualify.
For a QR code, look: Verify if there is a QR code on the receipt. This shows that the store is connected to the FBR computer network.
Use the Tax Easy App to confirm: To verify if the invoice is authentic, scan the QR code using the “Tax Easy” smartphone app.
Steer clear of raw receipts: Report the situation and decline a handwritten or simple receipt from the store.
Report Fake Receipts: Upload the information to the Tax Easy app by taking a clear picture of the questionable invoice and including the name and address of the store or restaurant.
