Apple’s Long-Delayed AI-Powered Siri Is Expected to Launch Again

Following an announcement at WWDC more than a year ago, the firm first stated that these improved functionality will be delivered “in the coming year.”
Apple said at the time that Siri would be able to adapt its help to each user’s unique context by learning from their interactions, emails, messages, files, and images. The tech giant hinted at a major improvement in both usefulness and user experience by teasing better integration with third-party apps and the ability for Siri to interact with what’s on the screen.
iOS 19 delay
Apple disappointed some who thought the company was about to make a significant change in virtual assistant capabilities when iOS 18 came out without any of these AI-based Siri enhancements. The release of Apple’s more intelligent Siri has now been rescheduled till the fall, most likely in conjunction with iOS 19. This indicates that it will be released approximately 15 to 16 months after the project was first revealed, which is much later than many people had expected.
The causes of the delay
Siri’s integration of advanced machine learning has been more difficult than anticipated, according to Apple. In order to resolve privacy concerns, improve the AI models that underpin Siri’s tailored recommendations, and guarantee the accuracy and stability of the finished product, the business is apparently investing more time.
