Balochistan Reopens 1,400 Out of 3,400 Closed Schools

The Balochistani government has reopened 1,400 of the 3,400 institutions that were shut down in order to ensure education and increase literacy in the region. An official from the Balochistan government told APP that an additional 1,800 schools would be functioning by the end of this month thanks to the hiring of teachers under the School Education Department, with the remaining 200 schools anticipated to reopen in the third phase.By the end of this month, he said, appointment orders for teachers chosen on the basis of merit would be sent out. According to the official, recent contract appointments have reopened almost 1,400 idle schools in the province. He promised that the hiring process will go on until all of the schools that are currently closed are completely operating.
According to him, the government of Balochistan has prioritised hiring instructors, restoring shuttered schools as soon as possible, and raising educational standards. He underlined that every child has a fundamental right to education and that it is our shared duty to guarantee that this right is fulfilled.Under the direction of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial government has pledged and is now working to ensure that no school in the province is forced to close because of a teacher shortage or a lack of infrastructure.
In order to prevent children from being denied an education, he added, special attention would also be paid to schools located in rural locations, and inactive schools would be reactivated as quickly as possible.
