Honor X60 GT Brings Honor’s Largest Battery to Date Alongside Flagship Grade Chip for Just $250
Five days after registering, Honor has formally introduced the X60 GT in China. Positioned as a significant competitor in the mid-range smartphone market, the X60 GT has high-end specifications, AI-powered software, and an incredibly low price tag.
Design and Presentation
The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen of the Honor X60 GT has a Full HD+ resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels and can reach a maximum brightness of 5,000 nits. It is therefore perfect for use outdoors, even under direct sunlight. The display panel has little bezels and is entirely flat.
It is available in three different colors: black, white, and blue. The back of the latter two is patterned with grids.
Software and Internals
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which powers the X60 GT, provides flagship-level performance, at least in comparison to previous years. It has 256GB or 512GB of internal storage and 12GB or 16GB of RAM in three different configurations.
The phone is running MagicOS 9.0, which offers a number of AI capabilities like AI face modification for video conversations, Dynamic Island-style notifications, and photo editing tools that allow users to extend image backgrounds or remove items. To control heat during prolonged use, like gaming, the phone also has a sizable vapor chamber cooling mechanism.
Cameras
A 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 2MP depth sensor are located on the back of the Honor X60 GT. It has a 16MP front-facing selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. Despite the camera’s low-end technology, MagicOS 9.0’s AI improvements improve image quality and provide users more entertaining editing choices.
Pricing and Battery
The X60 GT’s enormous 6,300 mAh battery, one of the biggest ever seen in an Honor smartphone, is one of its best features. It can reach 47% charge in just 15 minutes because to its 80W quick charging capability. This battery, when paired with internal power-efficient components, makes the phone perfect for extended gaming sessions or intensive multimedia use.
The Honor X60 GT offers excellent value for its class at a starting price of about $250, even with all these high-end capabilities.
