Punjab University Teachers Disappear After Getting Foreign Scholarships

Twelve of Punjab University’s academic members left their positions after receiving government-funded scholarships to pursue PhDs overseas, sparking a significant issue.Twelve instructors, however, failed to return to work after finishing or almost finishing their programs. The authorities acted quickly since the total sum lost to the university amounts to hundreds of millions of rupees.
In order to assist in tracking down and recovering the unpaid sums, the organization will also write to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). To ban the passports of the persons concerned, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been approached.
The employment of all 12 instructors has now been terminated. In order to avoid such occurrences in the future, the institution is under pressure to retrieve the funds and strengthen its scholarship monitoring mechanism.
