The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta, has announced that the annual intermediate exams in the province will now start on May 2, 2025.
An official press release dated April 27, 2025, indicated that the exams were originally set to begin on April 22, 2025, but were postponed for three weeks due to unavoidable circumstances.
To alleviate inconvenience for students, parents, and other stakeholders, the Board has opted to begin the examinations sooner than anticipated.
Previously, the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced that its postponed intermediate exams would commence on May 5, 2025.
In related news, the Sindh Assembly’s parliamentary committee has decided to award grace marks to first-year students who failed their exams, following a report that highlighted issues in the board’s examination process.
