Pakistan Provides Turkish Students with Fully-Funded Scholarships

Pakistan has offered Turkish students fully-funded scholarships in an effort to strengthen cultural and educational cooperation, which is a big step towards better academic relations between the two friendly countries.

The offer was made at a meeting on Thursday in Islamabad between Irfan Neziroglu, the Turkish ambassador, and Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, the chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program.

By giving Turkish students access to prestigious Pakistani colleges, the scholarships want to foster scholarly exchanges and interpersonal relationships. The program is a component of larger initiatives to promote cross-border youth engagement and shared learning opportunities.

The suggestion was welcomed by Ambassador Neziroglu, who said that there is a great deal of potential for youth cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey. Declaring, “This is not a diplomatic relation,” he emphasised the close fraternal ties between the two countries. We’re brothers.

The envoy also complimented Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Turkey after the 2023 earthquake disaster, expressing Pakistan’s unwavering concern.

In order to strengthen measures for youth empowerment and mutual learning, the two parties talked about the potential for Turkish involvement in Pakistan’s National Youth Council during the meeting. They also discussed working together in the fields of sports and media, and they both agreed that working together on these projects will strengthen their shared values and cultural links.

Chairman Rana Mashhood reiterated Pakistan’s determination to deepen its cooperation with Turkey, especially in projects aimed at young people. He pointed out that such initiatives will strengthen the two nations’ long-standing fraternity and create new opportunities for educational growth.
