Parents and students are confused as a result of unverified media claims regarding Punjab’s schools and universities starting summer holidays early.
Officials have noted, nevertheless, that no official notification has yet been given.
Government authorities dispute reports from several media sites that the Punjab Education Department has declared summer vacations beginning on June 1 in response to the increasing heat.
Although a final decision is still pending, officials revealed that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been notified of the idea to start holidays sooner than planned.
According to the Education Department, the notification won’t be sent out until Maryam Nawaz has given her official approval to the scheme.
Schools and institutions will continue to operate according to their normal academic schedule until an official announcement is issued.
