WhatsApp Rolls Out New Advanced Chat Privacy Feature

Advanced Chat Privacy is a new privacy-focused feature that WhatsApp has formally unveiled. Users now have more control over their messages in group and private conversations thanks to this upgrade. The function, which was first disclosed earlier this month, is now operational and has limitations designed to restrict the use of media and messages outside of the app.
The Functions of Advanced Chat Privacy
When activated, Advanced Chat Privacy stops media from automatically downloading to other users’ devices, stops other participants from exporting the chat, and stops WhatsApp’s AI-powered features from using your conversations. Although it doesn’t prevent screenshots—a feature WhatsApp hasn’t fixed—it does provide a number of restrictions that assist safeguard private discussions.
According to WhatsApp, this feature is particularly helpful in group discussions where people do not know one another well. An extra degree of privacy might be preferred, for example, by those talking about health-related issues in support groups or community issues in organizing groups. More control over what happens to messages after they are sent is possible with Advanced Chat Privacy.

How to Activate Privacy in Advanced Chat
The setting for that particular conversation can then be enabled. You must enable it separately for each chat in which you wish to increase privacy; this does not apply universally across all chats.
The feature is still in its initial iteration. WhatsApp has stated that it intends to gradually enhance Advanced Chat Privacy. Though specifics have not yet been disclosed, future improvements might include further limitations and technologies intended to further improve privacy.
