Jazz Reveals New Leadership Concepts to Drive Its Conversion to a Digital Services Organization

Jazz has introduced a daring set of Leadership Principles to ground this transition in a culture of purpose-driven leadership, accountability, and inclusivity as it swiftly transitions from a telecom operator to a full-fledged ServiceCo.
The principles, which are intended for all organizational levels, from frontline staff to the Executive Leadership Team, provide a cohesive framework to motivate action, encourage ownership, and create a workforce prepared for the future.
Jazz’s dedication to inclusive leadership development at all levels is reflected in the Leadership Principles’ four-tiered structure: Everyone, People Managers, Future Leadership Team (FLT), and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Each tier lays out specific actions that are consistent with Jazz’s core values: behaving honorably, prioritizing the needs of the customer, accepting different viewpoints, and innovating to shape the future.
“This is a mindset shift, not just a framework,” stated Tazeen Shahid, Jazz’s chief people officer. “We’re creating a culture in which action, not position, defines leadership. These values will direct how we support one another, our clients, and the nation.
There are more than 100 million digital users, more than 73 million connectivity customers, and growing numbers of fintech (JazzCash), enterprise cloud, entertainment (Tamasha), digital self-care (SIMOSA), insurtech (FikrFree), and solutions (Garaj)., Jazz needs to change its culture in addition to its strategy in order to become a service company.
Jazz is investing not only in goods but also in people and a future where each worker leads with a purpose by reinventing leadership for the digital era.
